It is worth noting that patent attorneys and patent agents have demonstrated the same basic qualifications for admission to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).  Patent attorneys and patent agents have passed the same Patent Bar Exam and have equal stature in filing and prosecuting patent applications.
